Description: Here is another unique toy that is somewhat a rarity to find. It’s brought to you by the “PA TOYS OF TIMES PAST” collection. This time it’s the POPEYE FLOOR PUNCHER TIN LITHOGRAPH WIND-UP. Mfg. by Chein. Copyright King Features Syndicate. Size: 7-1/2″ high. C. 1932. Green base, broad face version and light bag version. Marked "No. 257, 1932 King Features Syndicate, Inc." On the box is says "Blow Me Down," "He's My Meat," and "I'll Lay'im Among the Cactussus." It has a cigar mark N. Segar on the box. The toy has the original pipe and word Popeye on chest. There is no wear to the knees, but there is slight edgewear. It’s probably one of the best examples I’ve seen in a very long time. Lithography has very, very bright colors. Originally came from the Mark Kuster Collection. Celluloid punching bag is complete and original to the toy. This piece will make a wonderful addition to a one’s Popeye collection. This toy comes complete with a winding key which isn’t original to this toy but certainly looks its part. And to make this deal even sweeter, it comes with the rare “ORIGINAL” box. I’d say in near mint condition as it’s shrink wrapped to keep it that way. You probably aren’t going to find a nicer condition toy that comes with its original box anywhere. Grab it before it’s gone. It will look good displayed next to this fabulous antique toy. QUESTIONS??
