Description: Vintage 1950s 1960s White Tulle Lace Cupcake Princess Wedding Dress with removable train As always, shown without any sort of additional crinoline underneath Estimated modern XS - but PLEASE see measurements to confirm and/or make your own best judgment call. Please keep in mind, when looking at the measurements, there really is not any stretch. This dress was soaked / hand laundered, but will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed. This will either be shipped in a large polymailer or folded and shipped in a box. Again, it will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed. FEATURES: Back zip closure. Skirt is three layers - lining, tiered tulle petticoat, and top layer. Long sheer lace sleeves. sequin accents. Removable flyaway train that hooks in the front (see condition notes) COLOR: white with definite creamy undertones from time (the lining IS creamy). Not a pure white due to the lining. WOUNDS FROM TIME: one main issue- the zipper at some point came unstitched on one side. There are very old pins holding it in place - which is how I was able to show this zipped up. Will need to restitch. The zipper is not broken, just not attached on one side. The eyes that the hooks on the train are supposed to connect to are missing. I wore this in the photo and video with just the front connecting hooks. So you could do that, but it was obviously intended to be secured all the way around based on all the hooks. I didn’t notice any large tears or stains in the skirt, but it is possible I missed something small due to how voluminous this dress is Some threads that need trimmed Vintage smell from storage MATERIAL: likely synthetic - a stiffer (not soft) lace. Measurements taken flat and APPROXIMATE Shoulder to shoulder- 14” Shoulder to waist seam (at side of basque waist) - 15.5” waist at seam (which is the smallest part)- ever so slightly over 12.5” Hips not taken due to full nature of skirt Chest front (underarm to underarm with bust darts taken into account)- 19” Chest back (underarm to underarm)- 16” Shoulder to hem- 61.5” Sleeve length - 21.5" to wrist, 23" to end of point Train length - 60” I am 5'2" weighed 100 pounds at the time the video was filmed and this was a little bit loose on me.
