Description: Hello. I am offering a delightful vintage 1956 Napco AX1697B holiday/Christmas umbrella shopper girl figurine from my own personal collection. She is hard to find, especially with an umbrella in such great condition. She is quite popular. She is highly sought after by and coveted among both new and seasoned collectors alike. The girl and her umbrella have no cracks, scratches, or repairs. She is mostly clean except for a bit of surface dirt on the base ring. The hem of her dress is decorated with white spaghetti. The figurine has multiple tiny to small spots of paint loss on her red dress and some of the black areas. Her umbrella has four minute (smaller than pinhead-sized) flea bites along its edge; they are barely detectable. The part of the umbrella pole below the girl's hand has lost its white covering. For the sake of accuracy, she has sporadic areas of fine clear crazing except on the red, green, black, and gold parts; this in no way detracts from the piece's attractiveness. These are all very minor mentions. Overall, the girl and her umbrella are in excellent vintage condition. Please disregard the appearance of any shiny white spots which are due to camera glare. The bottom of the figurine is stamped Napco 1956 AX1697B. It also retains the entire original foil label which reads National Potteries Co. CLEVELAND O MADE IN JAPAN. With the umbrella in place, her dimensions are 5-7/8" h x 3-1/2" w x 3" d. She displays beautifully and is simply precious. The girl and her umbrella will be packed especially carefully before shipping and will be fully insured. The quoted price is an estimate for both USPS Priority Mail shipping and insurance.
