Description: VINTAGE 1959 CRAGSTON TIN BUICK BATTERY OPERATED TOY CAR 12" MADE IN JAPAN This auction features a rare vintage 1959 Buick Invicta hardtop, produced in Japan by Nomura (TN) Toys , in the late 1950's. It was sold, in the USA by Cragstan Toys (of New York). Very sharp looking car that has nice vibrant colors and graphics. Displays very well. This car is in working condition. Does have some minor wear. The remote that holds the battery's is missing the original bottom cover and was replaced with a Ray-o-Vac cover from a flashlight back in the day. Not uncommon I have seen these remotes before with missing covers. The original Steering Wheel is missing but can still be steered by the knob. Minor surface rust on remote. One headlight will need a new lightbulb the other headlight lights up and works great. Windshields look great! Normally these are cracked , broken or missing. There's is some red electrical tape on the original red remote wire. The original tires and rims still look new. The whitewall tires still look white!! Chrome looks great! Overall very nice piece. Great display car if you wanted just to remove the wiring and display the car it self. Great addition to any collection! Item sold as pictured. Good Luck and thank you for looking!
