Description: Vintage 1970's Encore Thinline Tele == Rare bird here in the States, I couldn't find a pic of another == Encore has been a brand of Hornsby Skewes in the UK since the 1960's, sourcing guitars from Japan, Korea and now China and Vietnam -- this is from the time of Japan/Korea manufacture (not a contemporary Blaster variation) == Gold bridge and Fender Custom Shop pickup -- two screw holes are visible from the old bridge) -- the other pickup is original, as are the full-size pots and 3-way switch == VG+ 8/10 or better with only light playwear, a few scratches and dings -- Almost no fret wear, straight neck with good action, medium soft-V profile morphing to a medim-C up the neck, nut width just over 1 5/8" == Fresh EB Slinky 10-48 strings -- and it plays and sounds like a Tele, cool little guitar == Weighs a very reasonable 7 1/2 lbs.
