Description: Offered here is a rare find: a "Terrible Towel" from the days of the great Pittsburgh Steelers teams of the 1970's.as the pictures show, this is one of the early, simply designed towels made by St. Mary's Inc in the USA. The towel is approximately 24" long by 15" wide and is a deeper gold color rather than the more recent yellow towels. The towel feature the classic black lettering, "the terrible towel." Although used and washed over the years, the towel is in very good vintage condition with strong lettering.
