Please come back often, as we are always buying more goodies to list on ebay. This listing is for a beautiful vintage men's Electronic Benrus 3 Star Citation watch. Based on style and research of similar Benrus watches, I believe this watch to be from the 1970s or early 80s. The watch has a nice vintage appearance. The gold plating is still thick and solid. It does show some wear along the edges and surface abrasion. The crystal has some minor scuffs and surface abrasions but it still clear in appearance. There is a minor nick over the date window. The dial looks very very good and all the numeral markers are attached. The main issue with appearance is that the second hand has come off and is loose inside the crystal, so this will need reattachment. The second hand is shaped like a lightening strik on one end, which looks pretty cool. I'm not sure what size battery it takes, but I have tested it with a 386, and it runs/ However, it ticks very fast and based on the limited time I tested it, it picked up a few minutes ahead of the actual time. For this reason I'm selling the watch AS IS and for repair. I'm removing the battery for storage, since I'm not sure if it's the right size and don't want to risk damage, but I will send the battery with it for the new owner. The watch has both rods that run between the lugs but I don't have a band for this watch, so I leave it to the new owner. The space between the lugs looks like about 19mm. The case diameter is 36mm.
