Description: This is a vintage Ludwig Supraphonic 5”x14” snare drum.It has a transition badge which I believe dates it around the early 80’s.One interesting fact about this particular Supraphonic is that it has bowtie lugs instead of the imperial lugs. After a bit of a research I found that this is how it originally came from the factory and it’s pretty rare to come by. The shell is HEAVILY PITTED as you can see in the photos. The chrome is peeling off and at certain places, big chunks of the chrome finish already fell off. This does not affect the sound and the snare sounds great like you would expect from a Supraphonic. I installed brand new replacement snare wires. Please refer to photos for condition. Feel free to ask any questions.
