Description: This vintage 7" record is shown to be on the Harlem Globetrotters record label. Please see photos attached. The artist, Brother Bones, whose real name was Freeman Davis, was a musician originally from Montgomery, Alabama, and is now deceased. It features the hit "Sweet Georgia Brown", which in 1952 became the theme song of the original Harlem Globetrotters. The recording on the flip side is entitled "Poor Butterfly". This record comes in a two-sided picture sleeve, with one side featuring old photos of the Globetrotters in action, and the flip side features a photo of Abe Saperstein, the founder of the Harlem Globetrotters. The record is in black with a red label and plays at 45 RPM. Perfect for any jazz enthusiast, this single is a must-have for any vinyl record collection. The artist, Brother Bones, is sure to impress with his unique style. I never knew this particular record existed until I was digging around in an old outdated record store one day and happened upon it. Don't miss out on the chance to own this rare piece of music history, especially with the connection to the great basketball franchise, the Harlem Globetrotters. Thank you for viewing my EBAY auction item. (Please note: I do not ship internationally.) God bless.
