Description: Vintage 50's Two Cloth Babushka Dolls Celluloid Mask Faces Made in Hungary These adorable Babushka dolls were made in Hungary. They feature: Celluloid faces in excellent condition with no missing paint or damage. Cloth bodies – some staining with signs of age. No rips but the heads appear to be hand sewn (not sure if original or if someone reinforced the stitching but they are solidly attached). Cloth tags on ankle. – One illegible, the other reads “Babushka Hungary” Blue doll measures approx. 8” tall x 5” wide hand to hand. Yellow doll = 7 ½” tall x 5 ¼” wide hand to hand. There are no rips and are very solidly constructed. Some staining and soiling to be expected from a doll of this age and material. Please see photos for additional details.
