Description: This listing is for a Vintage 1970s Ludwig 14x10 Marching Snare Drum Shell in original Gold Sparkle Wrap. Restore this shell into a Marching Drum or add a diverse sound to your kit by converting it into a Floor Tom / Snare Tom, a Snom, by adding 3 brackets and legs. You will have a good Floor Tom sound without snare wires engaged and with you’ll get a Super Fat Snare Drum sound. Most of the original Blue Olive badge has broken off but it can be replaced if desired. The interior shell is factory originally sprayed with granitone which dates this shell to the late 1970s. It is 100% functional, in very good cosmetic condition, no extra holes, normal signs of use through the years (see pics). It is originally factory drilled for; - 16 Classic small lugs (hole spacing 1 & 1/4”) - P85 Throw Off (hole spacing 2 & 1/2”) - P32 butt end plate (hole spacing 2 & 1/4” or 2 & 1/8”) - Large knob muffler This listing is for the Shell ONLY.
