Description: Vintage Akai CS-732D Quick Reverse Stereo Cassette Deck - Tested READ DESC. The cassette deck is in great condition for it's age. There are scratches and scuffs that are pictured. The ones pictures are the most severe. There may be light scratches that are difficult or impossible to get on camera. I believe that the belt needs replacing. The unit tries to work, but has intermittent results with playback and rewinding/FF. I have uploaded a video of the internals working during playback. The flywheels appear to be operating normally, but I believe that the belt is slipping. Sometimes it won't move at all and others it seems almost normal. The record function seems to be working when the belt works. The record meter moves with the music. I could not, however, get sound out of the unit or get the playback meter to function. I have taken pictures of the internal boards and there is nothing that is jumping out to me as obviously bad such as a leaky capacitor. The deck is sold as-is for repair or parts. It's in nice enough condition to attempt repair. Note: I located the manual and some warranty paperwork after the listing went live. I have added a photo of them and they WILL be included with the cassette deck. See pictures for details.
