I think this is a lovely piece and would be a wonderful gift to a hatpin or jewelry collector or a fantastic addition to your ever growing collection. Such a classic design. Please look at all of the images to form your own opinion as to the condition of the item. My personal opinion may differ from yours. To me, it is in excellent vintage condition, meaning gently worn and well taken care of - wear consistent with age. If you are picky, you will want to straighten out the pin a little, but most folks probably won’t. I can’t find a maker mark put the pin is stamped 14k. I did preform a metal purity test, see image, and it tested positive for 14K using the Puri Test acid testing kit. I did not polish or clean the pin as some folks like a bit of patina so I will leave that up to the discretion of the buyer. Prior to wearing, please get the item checked out, serviced or repaired by a professional as I can not be held responsible for how any item, clasp, stones, gems, chain, string, findings, etc. will hold up with any sort of wear.
