Description: Vintage / Antique Japanese Geisha Doll with Wigs Description: This is a very old, vintage, and most likely antique Japanese doll with wigs. The doll seems to be a Hanako, or Gofun style doll, but I really don't know what type of doll this is, or who made it. I didn't see any markings on it, or on the box, other than some numbers written on the back of the wooden box. This doll was among a few I purchased this doll from a collector's estate; all of which were kept in a glass display case. Unfortunately, I don't know any other specifics, or dates pertaining to this doll, so if you know more than I do, and feel like sharing, I'd be interested. Physically this doll is in good shape for it's age and rarity, but it definitely has wear & tear from handling and age. The wigs are in good shape as well, but with their age, they are fragile and shedding hair when handled. The wooden box has some loose dividers, and the outside of the box also has signs of wear from over the years.
