There is a Tone Adjustment to the alarm allows you to choose the tonal sound you prefer hearing when the alarm turns on. Clock powers on. There is motion in hands and the alarm works. Cord and plug are in good condition. ~However, the seconds hand recently began halting when keeping time. I’m not sure if it needs oil or a part, as I am a collector and not a clock repairman.
