The Research: It would appear the tobacco (distributor) store still exists but in a different location. The sticker does not appear to be present on newer tins. The writing changes on the lid edge throughout the years as well. My best guess on the age of this tin is 60's or 70's based on the Estate it came from and the small data I can locate and cross reference. This may be accurate or may not. I'm just attempting an educated guess. The newer tins also appear more yellow and this one appears more like cream or tan. One resource claimed another company took over in 1989 but exactly what changes that had on the tin design are unclear. Some older versions apparently had a lead seal. I suspect this one is after that as it instructs using a coin under lid to open. Hope that helps.
