Description: VINTAGE GRAND WOOD CARVED WOOD ARABIAN FOAL IN MOTION.DATED 1942. THIS LITTLE FOAL WAS HAND CARVED LATE 1930's TOWARD THE END OF THE DEPRESSION ERA. IT WAS GIVEN AS A GIFT IN 1942 THIS FOAL IS A VINTAGE GRAND WOOD CARVING. CHICAGO, ILL. USA.MEASURES APPROX. 4.5" IN. LONG X 4.75" IN. HIGH.HAS DAMAGE WITH A CLEAN LEFT HIND LEG BREAK WHICH HAS NEATLY BEEN GLUE REPAIRED. WILL HAVE VARIOUS ALL OVER WEAR RUBS AND MARKS FROM AGE AND USE. HAS MASKING TAPE LABEL ON BELLY UNDERSIDE WITH DATE AND LOCATION.
