Vintage Case XX USA 1965-69 62009 1/2 Barlow Chestnut Bone

Description: This is a vintage Case 62009 ½ “Barlow” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX USA 1965-1969.The knife is 3-3/8” closed with brass liners.The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.Both blades have strong snap with half stops.The clip blade has a very slight hint of side-to-side wobble. The chestnut bone handles have great color, no cracks or damage. Unused near mint knife - factory blade finish, factory edges.The clip blade has a couple of microscopic specks, hint of light tarnish.The bolster stamp is a bit light; came from the factory that way.Included is a vintage Case “pumpkin” box that originally held six of the 62009 1/2 pattern. The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
