Vintage CHASE Momma Cat & Kitten Hand-Painted Figurines JAPAN (1950's)

Description: Offering for your consideration are these Vintage (1950's) Mom and Kitten Figurines Hallmarked CHASE Japan. These hand-painted figurines are in excellent vintage condition with minimal paint loss or wear, no stains, crazing, cracks or repairs. The flower on Mamma Cat has a rough area on the underside of one petal which may be a chip but I don't think so, since their is no indication of paint disturbance. Each cat has yellow eyes accented with black and lots of 24K gold brush strokes. Mamma cat is about 5" high x 3" wide x 2.25" deep and the baby is 2.5" high at tail with a length of 3.5". If you happen to be or know an avid cat collector, this set is definitely a unique and necessary addition. This offer is for the 2 cat figurines only. *Please note that my items are VINTAGE and most have age related wear. I am not an expert, only an admirer of the items that I remember from earlier times....Each item that I sell is at least 20 years old and some are up to 70+ years old, which means me or someone at one point owned and loved it--so when you are bidding remember it is NOT NEW.
