Description: This is a listing for 10 vintage Cherry MX Black switches. I desoldered them from old Wyse WY50 keyboards from 1983, which is well before Cherry's retooling of the equipment that made these switches. The final three images show one of these keyboards, with two of them clearly showing the year 1983. I have tested all of the switches to make sure that they work. However, due to the desoldering process, there could still be a small amount of solder left on the pins, as shown in the 6th image. Additionally, in some of the switches, the thicker pin has been bent, presumably to make better contact with some of the soldering pads. Together, these two factors might make it difficult to use these switches in hot-swappable keyboard PCBs. If you really need switches that have very little solder on them and straight pins, add a "Message to Seller" during checkout, or send me a message about it, and I will try my best to pick out switches for you that fit these criteria.Otherwise, if you plan on building a keyboard where you will solder the switches, you will be fine using any switches included in this listing.

California Prop 65 Warning: These switches contain tiny amounts of solder from when they were soldered to the keyboard. Given that the board was made in 1983, there is a good chance that this solder contains lead.
