Description: Here's a 12" adjustable wrench from the Diamond Calk Horseshoe Company of Duluth, Minnesota. It was likely made in the 1930s or 40s. It's a beefy wrench, weighing 1 lb 6 oz.This one is in especially nice condition, with just a few very small nicks on the edges of the jaws, and no signs of abuse. See pics. The jaw faces have almost no wear, and the adjustable jaw moves smoothly and closes in good alignment.Maximum jaw capacity is 1-1/4".The surface has darkened considerably, with a little staining in spots, but it gives the wrench a terrific patina. There are no personalizations.- a fine example of the high-quality tools that were made in the U.S. nearly a century ago.
