Description: This vintage Spiro Agnew watch was ordered as soon as they came out.The Dirty Time Company was a family business taking advantage of Spiro Agnew's fall from grace and his forced resignation as Nixon's vice president. It was done in the style of a Disney Mickey Mouse watch. The L.A. The dial is multicolored and features a political flag theme. The watch is Swiss Made and was manufactured for this company between 1970-1979. Spiro's hands are covered with red gloves, beware of fakes with just stick hour and minute hands. The watch is not water-resistant. It has a mechanical (manual) movement, and I tested it, and it does not work, probably from sitting idle since 1970. It was never worn and is basically brand new in terms of actual wear or handling. It comes with its original mailing tube dated October 1970 just as it was received by me. Have you seen any for sale with the original mailing tube? A tiny reorder form from the company is also enclosed. I will also enclose a magazine ad for the watch, possibly from Playboy? It was advertised at $21 including postage. The item is sold "as-is."
