Description: Offering this vintage photo of a Washington Sunset. Taken by Frank Jacobs of Seattle. 9-3/8" tall x 7-3/8" wide. The back is stamped with Franks Jacobs business information. The front of the mat is signed by Frank Jacobs. He was known for his Pacific Northwest photos. He was a pioneer in the field of photo journalism. Hired as one of the first photo journalists at The Seattle Post Intelligencer in 1909. This is a vintage piece formerly belonging to a relative of mine that enjoyed photography and had a few vintage photos she collected. This is not glossy photo paper. It is more of a light cardboard.
