The reel casts and retrieves line properly, the anti-reverse lever works properly with a clear click sound, the drag works well, the reel spins freely, the bale snaps shut every time, and the handle reels properly. The bail wire is an after-market item and the clicker on the spool is not operational. The reel has been used but it was treated well. The reel is well built and has a good Drag system, and the Bail Springs are strong. The reel was made in France. All Parts are functioning as they should. There is some surface wear on the rotating head, on the side plate, on the foot/leg, on the frame, and on the spool. The wear is minor scratches and small chips except on the side plate; the side plate has many paint chips. Please ask if you want extra photos of the reel.
