Description: Hand crafted and painted, this antique Quimper round cereal/soup lug bowl features a Breton woman in traditional dress carrying a small bouquet of flowers in the French countryside. The hand painted detailed design adds a rustic and folk country appearance. A great example of older French country faience. Approximately 5 3/8” in diameter and 3 1/4” H. From handle to handle it measures 8 1/2”. This piece is in worn and used vintage condition. There are chips around the top of the bowl. The outside of the bowl is in good condition.
