This comes with a Huge WOW factor and a valuable treasure to enhance any room and enhance in value with time.I am unsure as to the purpose, but it appears that the Maharaja figure has a place in his right, extended, hand that may have held an implement or may be an place for an incense stick to burn with the canopy removed. Figurine is two pieces with a removable canopy.Metal: Sterling Silver, Stamped 925 on the bottom of the right rear foot and verified in multiple locations on the elephant and canopy with acid test.Weight is 35.9 Troy Ounces I do not know the exact age of this piece, the patina signifies significant age, enough to put it in the vintage category, but it may be much older, I am not an expert and have no way to tell exactly.
