We live on the magical Isle of Wight and enjoy finding unusual items that tell a story. Derrick has a background in the collectables, antiques, auction trade for over 15 years and loves burying himself into the history of an item and preserving things that were destined to be thrown away to be re-loved once again. Emma has been the backbone of the family and with Oscar have caught the collecting and preserving bug. As we are company owners we wanted to leave a legacy for Oscar and one day in March 2022 we decide to create Oscar’s Treasure Island, the name of the family business is based on our son Oscar’s name. Oscar’s input was the “treasure” as he always calls our new finds treasures plus he is our little “treasure” “Island” was due our location and fitting with Author Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel Treasure Island.This is the very start of our journey and one day we hope to open a shop on the Island to show all of Oscar’s wonderful treasures, so why not start the journey with us.
