Description: Vintage M. COPELAND - WARRANTED Complex Wood Moulding Plane This is a vintage M. COPELAND - WARRANTED Complex Wood Moulding Plane. It has prior owner's initials "J.H. on the front end". According to Pollak, it is estimated that this plane was manufactured circa 1831-54. This example is 9 1/2" long and 7/8" wide. The blade is about 1/2" wide. It is made of Beech. The wedge and blade appear to be original. I rate this plane in GOOD + CONDITION overall. It has been lightly cleaned and shows normal wear from use over the years.
