Vintage Mid-Century Modern Carstens Tonnieshof Ceramic Pottery 8" Handled Ewer No sticker present, but this vase is definitely a Carstens product; the company was activefrom 1947-1984 Hallmarked on bottom: GERMANY 464 White drip glazing over a 'pregnant' subdued yellow body, fading into brown and metallic gold at boththe top and bottom of the ewer; the handle & spout are both brown & metallic gold -- The finish all over is glossy Actually measures ~7-3/4" tall x ~4" at the widest Weighs 9.0 oz. Photos #5-8 circle the ewer, clockwise Photo #9 shows the area of the texturally thickest drip glazing, HINTING at 'fat lava' texturing Excellent vintage condition!
