Vintage Meissen Teichert Blue Onion Gravy Boat w/Underplate Oval Meissen Mark

Description: The classic Blue Onion pattern adorns this piece of Meissen bearing the logo with the oval around it. It is in keeping with perfect German style with waves around the rims of the bowl and the attached underplate. I particularly want to bring attention to the embossed feathery plant like embellishments that reside underneath both of the side handles. These are nice subtle changes that are made throughout the history of these productions. These side handles and double spouts could be useful for lefties or right-handed folks alike. The Logo also is accompanied by the printed "Germany" and "Meissen" stamped into the clay while still leathery. I attempted to get a photo of this, but white on white is hard without the benefit of 3-D depth perception. There are also numbers painted and stamped to which I have not learned about. My apologies. I do know that the mark is associated with the Teichert Factory and would have been made in the earlier part of the 20th century before 1930.She measures approximately 9 x 6 1/2 inches and 4 inches tall. The depth of the boat is about 2 inches. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing.There are a few small dots here and there that were formed during the firing process. It would be a lovely part of your collection or to actually use for dinner when gravy use is in order. If you live in The South in The United States of America, that would be often.
