Description: Vintage Mitchell MK3 Half Bail - 1950 - 1951 Near Mint Condition. Looks like it was never used. The aluminum handle knob has no paint wear and is still the original black color. Very rare model in above average near mint condition. This model was the predecessor of the 300 reel and was produced before Garcia partnered with the Mitchell company to distribute reels in the United States. The MK.3 half bail reels produced the first 2 years (1950- 1952) were produced without a serial number and this reel has no visible serial number.
