Description: Vintage NATIVE AMERICAN RAWHIDE, CLAY & WOOD HAND DRUM 11 INCHES This unusual drum has a clay base with wood branches that are split and have cotton string holding the rawhide onto the branches. Please review the photos of the back for the dark ring that is made of clay. I believe the clay has the branches imbedded in it, but I can't really tell. The drum measures approximately 8” across and 1.5" tall. It has a lovely sound and is ready for your everyday or ceremonial use.
