The plating and condition of the razor is exceptional. The top cap is smooth and shiny. The baseplate and stabilizer pins provide stellar blade clamping. Three out of the four last teeth are slightly bent inwards, which has no impact on the quality of your shave. Please make no effort to bend them straight or you will lose them. The he barrel handle has no cracks or fissures. The handle and TTO knob’s diamond pattern is awesome and in pristine condition. The razor has been cleaned and sanitized. The case overall is in good condition. The outside has some missing leatherette but still looks good, and it does close. The inside of the case is very good. The Gillette & New Standard logos are clearly visible on the well conditioned eggplant velveteen. The set is completed with a Gillette silver tone blade bank with two vintage Gillette Blue Blades.
