Description: This vintage oil painting depicts a charming European street scene with a chapel on the mountainside. The medium-sized painting (27.5" x 19.5") is a one-of-a-kind piece that was hand-painted with oil production technique. The painting is signed by L. MARONE, and it features a few townspeople out in the street, a cart (maybe selling food), and the hustle & bustle of small town life. The painting is probably post-1950 period but I don't know for sure- it is secured with Nail head trim.; with a touch of Realism and Impressionism. I tried researching the Signature but did not come up with anything. Regardless, it is well painted, charming and was a part of my home for many years. Now, I'm passing it on to a new owner.
