While out on my most recent treasure hunting adventure I met 2 wonderful older ladies. Sisters that worked for Marshall Fields from 1960's up through the early 2000's. the older sister worked the perfume counter and (self admittingly) spent nearly her enitre paycheck there every week. The younger sister was a buyer for Marshall fields and also worked in the Fragrance industry. Together the sisters collected 100's of perfume samples throughout the years. after striking up conversation I learned neither had ever married nor had any children. They where downsizing and so afraid that their treasured collection would end up in a landfill. Of course I offered to help! so here we are!
