Vintage Omega Seamaster Quartz Watch, Ref. 396.0897, 1980, 35mm, Great Condition

Description: Welcome to the sale of this stunning Vintage Omega Seamaster Quartz, Ref. 396.0897. The watch was produced in 1980 and for the age is in excellent condition both externally and internally. Externally the watch is in great condition. Both the case and the crystal do have some minor signs of wear, but nothing of major significance at all. The appealing and quite rare grey 'honeycomb' style dial on this piece is in great condition and really needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. The caseback is very good also. Internally the iconic caliber 1342 movement is running flawlessly and keeps great time. I am unable to say when the piece was last serviced but as I say it's currently running with no issues whatsoever. The watch is 35mm in diameter, however I would say that it wears slightly larger than you might expect. The watch comes on its original integrated style bracelet, also in good condition overall. The omega logo insert is missing from the clasp (photo included). The bracelet will currently fit a wrist up to 17cm in diameter. The watch does not come with its original box or papers. Overall this is an amazing piece of Omega history in truly stunning condition for the age. The dial on this watch is quite rare and looks great.
