The work is tremendously well executed with a magnificent, thick, Impasto texture. The artist name is Ayoba Simon. This piece is mounted in its original frame and the dust cover has been removed which revealing some indications of its Provence from an Alfred H. Cooke, a former USA Embassy Foreign services that had this painting shipped to Mexico as noted on the backside of the canvas. I have two other similar paintings that have the same stencil and they appear to have originated from Cameron.
