It features a net design with yellow and blue coloring and an undulating fire polished rim. Each piece from this series is hand made with a limited number produced. Mouth-blown, hand-shaped. Country of Manufacture Sweden. Signed by maker Orrefors. Hand-Crafted Sven Palmqvist (1906–1984) was one of Sweden's leading glass artists during the 20th century. He worked for the Orrefors glassworks between the 1940 - 1970s. He is recognised for his innovative glass techniques such as kraka, Ravenna, and fuga. His work is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design. Sven Palmqvist developed the Kraka technique at Orrefors in 1944.
