Description: THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY AUCTION. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND MY POLICIES BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID. Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list! This listing is for a vintage Page brand baritone saxophone ligature. This ligature features a single, bottom mounted thumb screw that tightens a plate upward against the reed. This eliminates the pinching action of a traditional ligature, thereby creating a better reed to mouthpiece seal. This is a very large ligature, designed to fit the old style, fat body 'pickle barrel' mouthpieces that were common in the pre-WWII era. The internal circumference at the back of the ligature is approximately 37.5mm. This ligature is in very good used condition. There are no cracks, and it has not been bent out of shape. The screw works properly. The nickel plate finish is fully intact and still shiny, with minor scratching from normal use. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks again for looking! 8-19-24-5
