Description: Item Description: Vintage, framed, small oil painting on canvas of a gondola on the canals among the beautiful architecture of Venice, Italy. Signed by the artist, but the name is illegible (see close-up photo). This is a piece from the famed Robert Sills Gallery (Art Auctions for Fund Raising) which had locations in Los Angeles and Illinois from the 1960's through 1980's. Beautiful, ornate, heavy wood and composite frame is painted a warm, bronzy gold with antiquing in the relief areas. Hanging wire attached with two eye hooks. No COA, but there is an original sticker on the back from the Robert Sills Gallery and a register number of F17009, which is a unique identifier for this piece. Measurements: The painting on its own is approximately 8" x 10". Including the frame, it is approximately 13.25" x 15" with a depth of 1.75". Condition: In very good to excellent overall pre-owned vintage condition. No signs of wear on the painting itself. The frame has a few small spots of chipping and paint loss. Colors are good.
