The “Carousel In Egg”, is an 11” Faberge-shaped wonder, with an artistically intricate interior and elegantly gilded exterior, featuring the song “Lara’s Theme”. The horses move up and down as the carousel spins. It rests on a gilt brass base and weighs approximately 4 pounds. There are lightbulbs on the interior. We are not certain as to whether they should turn on, but they do not. This rare and lovely carousel is in good used condition, but it is not perfect. As the music box plays it tends to stick intermittently and the knob on the rear that controls the on/off function is loose. View photos for any condition issues.
