Description: Beautiful circular wreath of leaves brooch with matching earrings. TARA Fifth Avenue was founded in New York in the early 1960s and moved to California later that decade. It is unknown whether they manufactured their own jewelry, but it is known that well-known manufacturers such as Delizza & Elster, Monet and Judy Lee manufactured pieces for them. The jewelry was sold by independent representatives at house parties and door-to-door, much like Avon or Sarah Coventry. This piece is in such excellent condition that it could be mistaken for a modern piece. It will look great on the collar of a dress or lapel of a jacket. The matching earrings compliment the look with their vertical fit on the ear (can't get that with pierced!) The silver and gold shine makes them perfect for the spring and summer months.
