Description: Vintage Universal Elgin J-A38 Deluxe Automatic Sewing Machine Model SAMB-2 Working condition Hard Carrying Case plus many Extras. Instruction book The machine needs a little hand help to get moving but once going, it seems to run good with no burning smells which can be common in these nostalgic sewing machines. Front piece wasn't attached very good, the screw must of been barely in as it fell off while turning the machine around for pictures. My hands don't work well enough to get it back on. The case is solid with a nice holding clasp on each side. The picture shows the side with staining and wear; other side looks much better. I can send more pictures if asked to do so upon messaging. Please Note: 1) I know nothing about sewing, so I have never used it personally. But as a reseller and collector of all things vintage, I can tell you that the motor runs smooth and strong, NO smell of burning or overheating, mechanical parts are not jammed, no knocking or loose parts. It may need lubrication as I have NO knowledge of last service. 2) ALL pictures are actual pictures of the unit taken today. NO damage, minor scratches if any at all on this unit. It has NOT been tested completely. 3) You get exactly what you see in the images, so please pay close attention to the images for any possible missing parts or accessories. This is very heavy and with the case makes for quite a large package to ship so large package rules apply. Will probably ship UPS, if USPS is requested, additional charges will apply.
