Description: This Vintage 80s 90s US Army USGI Tan ALICE Gear Lot is in good, clean condition overall but individual components do show expected signs of age and service. The lot includes one pair of tan Suspenders, one OD green LC-2 Belt, three tan Pouches, one tan Canteen Cover and one tan M1961 Canteen. The tan LC-2 style Individual Equipment Belt Suspenders are in good condition and are only marked with what appears to be a soldier's "Laundry Number." No rips, tears or holes can be found and all hardware functions as you would expect. The OD green LC-2 Individual Equipment Belt is in very good condition, is a size Medium and appears to have been made sometime around 1984. Both of the Tan mag pouches are in very good condition and still retain their internal divider straps. All hardware is clean and function. No rips, tears, holes or stains can be detected. The tan First Aid Compass Pouch is in good, clean condition as well and shows only mild signs of age. The same "Laundry Number" found on the suspenders is written on the backside of this pouch too. No rips, tears or holes can be found and all hardware functions as you would expect. The tan LC-2 style canteen cover is only marked with the same number the other components in the group are marked with. All hardware functions exactly as you would expect, no evidence of abuse or neglect is present. The tan M1961 plastic canteen is in very good, clean condition and is marked "U.S. 1996 H.T.P." on it's bottom side. The tan Buttpack / Training Pack is in excellent condition and is also marked with the same identification number found on a majority of the other pieces included. All hardware is clean and functions as you would expect. No rips, tears, holes or stains can be found. Of note, most of the metal hardware found on this buttpack, as well as other pieces included in this lot, displays known US contractor stamps. These stamps would appear to suggest production sometime in the 80s or 90s. Tan ALICE gear has been produced commercially for foreign militaries like the SAA (Saudi Arabian Army) and has also been used by the US military as well, most notably the US Air Force Security Forces personnel during the Gulf War / OIF.
