Description: Vintage Karl Hofner violin, Germany dated 1969. Violin is 3/4 size 13" body. Great for the student and good quality, made in Germany. Normal wear on edges and varnish worn in a couple of spots on front. Strings in fair condition and it comes with a Glasser bow and a case in fair condition. I think this violin is strung as a viola, as that is how the student played it. Many teachers prefer to teach on Hofners. The photos tell the story. Why rent when you can own and pass down to other players in the family. These violins are not set up - it is up to the new owner!
