Description: Vintage VOLUPTE Black Enamel Floral Powder POCKET WATCH Compact & Case Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE VOLUPTE ENAMEL COMPACT & CASE Lovely vintage 1940s Volupte pocket watch style compact measuring about 2-1/4" in size -- 3" including the press down mechanism and bracket from which the black tasseled cord is tied. Featuring a striking black enamel front accented with tiny pink and blue florals, back bears a gold guilloche machined design and interior is empty with no loose powder, puff or damage -- original mirror is still in place - please note - there is a missing slice on one edge of the mirror as shown - I don't know it this is by design or damage - the line is very clean and straight, so assuming by design. Marked VOLUPTE U.S.A. on the flange edge, compact is complete with the little round satin sleeve into which it neatly slides - exterior case has a bit of scuffing and wear, but has protected the compact very well. Compact opens when the pin is pressed and closes the same way - it is a bit stiff, but still works as it should.
