Description: These old Shutters with a horrible white paint job are the last set of 7 shutters I have for sale and are just waiting for someone to take some time with them and give them some tlc. They are solid, great set of shutters that will need only a few tweaks to get them perfect. They do include the side pieces to attach them appropriately, but can also be removed as well if need be. Approx 6 slats have become unattached from the rod that opens & closes them. Cheap, easy fix. Need a little wood glue on 2 or 3 slats that are slightly cracked. You can see the flaws in the last few pics posted, you can also see the original wood that is covered by the horrible thin white paint job in the pics I provided. Won't take alot of work to remove the paint, if that is what you want to do but some slats are stiff to move up & down because of the paint. A little Murphys oil soap should loosen those slats up to open and close freely, they have just stayed in the closed position too long after being painted.(I did not paint them, just to be clear) I love the look of white painted shutters, if painted correctly but the original wood is a pretty color and in great shape as well. So, if you're looking for a small project set of shutters, these are for you! They are priced to sell and shipping is priced where we both incur half the cost, they are expensive to ship!
