Description: This vintage wooden nut bowl with cast iron spring nutcracker is a rare find for any collector. The round bowl features a mid-century modern or Scandinavian design with a unique double wooden bowl. The bowl is unmarked and has a double bowl design.and measures approx. 11" across the outer bowl and about 6 3/4" across the inner bowl. We think it was produced in the 1960-1980 time period using a turned wood production technique. The vintage piece is perfect for those who appreciate mid-century modern style and is a great conversation starter. The bowl is in nice condition the cast iron nutcracker some ware, I did try and clean then rubbed it with Mineral Oil, which is what I use on my Butcher block island.
