A pair of vintage Eighties oversize sunglasses by Emmanuelle Khanh -- the French designer who "invented" oversize sunglasses and who made the sunglasses Audrey Hepburn wore in the films Breakfast at Tiffany's and Charade and in real life. Khanh is teh designer who first put big sunglasses on the fashion map and who made them an integral part of any "glamorous" outfit. When you see J Lo or other celebs in their big sunglasses it is Khanh who started this tradition. This pair comes from a limited edition of sunglasses handmade in France for Khanh's line. With gold metal initials "EK" on the outer side of the left prong and "Emmanuelle Khanh Paris" - Handmade in France" on the inner side of that prong these are made of black and tortoise material with tiny gold studs and gray non-prescription lenses.
