HERE WE HAVE: A vintage Paillard Bolex 16mm film movie camera! Made in Switzerland. The model number is marked as H16 S.. but I'm told that is actually a much earlier (c1940s) camera with a newer name plate on it! I've read that a serial number is supposed to be on the bottom of the camera, but I don't see one there. This unit has a rounded bottom, so I believe it's an earlier version of this model.Comes with a small assortment of parts we received with the camera as well as a Kern-Paillard YVAR 1:2.8 75mm lens. 4/28/22 edit - I found an assortment of catalogs/paperwork from Paillard and Bolex. I don't know if it is original to this camera but I am including it! Paperwork shown in last photo. CONDITION: Being sold as is, for parts or repair. We don't have any film to fully test it but did fiddle around with it a bit and it seems like it SHOULD work! It's a vintage camera though and could certainly require servicing. When you press the front button, the handle on the side spins. Inside the film compartment looks pretty clean. There are some scuffs, scratches, and discoloration spots to the exterior from age and use. The vinyl coating is lifting up in a few spots. Extra lens isn't tested; it has what looks like some dust or hazing on the glass when you look through it.. I can't tell if it's inside or out and don't want to damage it by trying to clean it!
